Stephen Harper was in Welland today. Welland is trending on twitter because he got the local Conservative candidate’s name wrong, visited Tim Horton’s, Picard’s Peanuts and talked about getting rid of a long-gun registry. Also, Welland is getting its first Zumba class.
The Conservative government are trying to reclaim the regions that they lost last election, in an attempt to claim a majority of the seats. The Conservative party lost last election in Welland to the NDP candidate Malcolm Allen. The audio is his account of Harper’s visit today.
